"Katie did a cord cutting ceremony for me as I was letting go of a long term relationship. The way the candles interacted showed the exact patterns that had been playing out. I saw how the other person had been using my energy to replenish their own power. I saw the energetic walls built as an attempt to make me carry the burden.
In the end, the ceremony played out just like the relationship, with aggressive energetic communication and attempts to attack me backfiring. The other person self extinguished their own light. Despite their attempts to reconnect to my energy, we did a second ceremony that enforced the boundary, confirmed by my candle literally leaning away.
